Overview
The short version: this app has no account system and no backend server. Almost everything it does happens entirely on your device. The only outside connection is Google's advertising SDK (AdMob), which is covered in detail below.
This Privacy Policy explains what happens to your information when you use Ronaldo Fake Video Call (the "App"), a mobile entertainment app for Android and iOS. If you have questions after reading this, see the Contact section.
What this app is
Ronaldo Fake Video Call is a simulation and entertainment app. It plays a pre-recorded, locally bundled video styled to look like an incoming video call. No real call takes place, no real person is contacted, and nothing you say or do during the simulated call is transmitted anywhere.
The App is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any real athlete, celebrity, or public figure. Any resemblance is presented purely as entertainment.
Data we collect
We — the developer — do not operate any server, database, or account system for this App, and we do not directly collect, receive, or store any personal information from your use of the App.
There is no sign-up, no login, and no way for the App to identify you as an individual. The App does not use analytics or crash-reporting services in this version.
| Category | Collected by the developer? |
|---|---|
| Name, email, or account details | No — no accounts exist |
| Location data | No |
| Contacts, messages, or files | No |
| Camera image or video | No — see Camera use |
| Advertising identifiers | Only via Google AdMob — see Advertising |
Camera use
The App may ask for camera access to show a small "self-view" preview bubble during the simulated call, similar to a real video call app. This is purely cosmetic.
- The camera feed is displayed live on your screen only.
- It is never recorded, saved, uploaded, or transmitted by the App.
- If you decline camera permission, the App shows a placeholder image instead and the rest of the app works normally. You will not be asked again during the same call attempt.
Advertising & AdMob
The App is free to use and supported by advertising through Google AdMob. A short ad may appear before a simulated call starts.
Google, as the advertising provider, may collect and process information such as your advertising ID, general device information, and approximate location (derived from IP address) in order to serve and measure ads. This processing is governed by Google's own privacy policy, not by us:
We do not receive or store the data Google collects for ad delivery. We only receive aggregated performance figures (such as how many ads were shown), not information about individual users.
Your consent choices
On markets where required (including the EEA and UK), the App shows Google's consent form on first launch, before any personalized advertising occurs. You can change your ad consent choice at any time from Settings → Manage ad consent inside the App.
Declining personalized ads does not stop ads from appearing — you'll still see non-personalized ads, and the App's call simulation works exactly the same either way.
Where applicable, iOS users may also see Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, surfaced automatically as part of the consent flow above.
Data stored on your device
The App stores a small amount of data locally on your device only, using standard app-preference storage. This never leaves your device and is not accessible to us:
- Whether you've seen the first-launch disclosure screen.
- Your sound on/off preference.
- Your ad-consent choice (managed by Google's consent library).
Uninstalling the App removes all of this data.
Children's privacy
This App is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the App has no accounts and no backend, it does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, regardless of age — except as described in the Advertising section, which is handled entirely by Google's SDK under its own policies.
Data retention & deletion
Since we do not collect or store personal data on any server, there is no developer-held data to retain or delete. Any locally stored preferences (see above) are removed automatically when you uninstall the App. To manage data Google holds for advertising purposes, use your device's ad settings or Google's own account controls.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example to reflect new features or changes in law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated policy.
